How Bad Do You Truly Want It?” - The Goodieval Life

Life is crazy. There’s no other way to put it. One moment you’re standing in the familiar, and the next, you’re staring at a new challenge, a new horizon, a new version of yourself waiting to be unlocked. And the truth is—this world? It’s here for the taking. You can do absolutely anything you set your mind to.
But make no mistake…
It will cost you.
If I want to be the fittest and most elite athlete in the world, I have to trade in the late nights for early mornings. I have to say no to parties, to alcohol, to the things that dull the edge of my focus. If I want to be wealthy beyond measure, I can’t spend recklessly chasing temporary highs—I have to invest, discipline, build. If I want to walk closer with the Lord, I must leave behind anything and anyone that distances me from His presence. The cost is real. But so is the reward.
Because we are the captains of our destiny.
The pen is in our hands.
The path? Already laid before us—if we have the faith and the fire to walk it.
The law of accumulation is as real as gravity. Every day you lift that weight, read that book, save that dollar, choose that prayer, say no to what drains you and yes to what builds you—it all adds up. So does the opposite. Every missed opportunity, every lazy decision, every shortcut—it stacks, too. Your life is the compound interest of your habits. The good and the bad.
This is a world overflowing with opportunity—new books that unlock parts of your soul you didn’t know were there. New people who speak life into you, who challenge your thinking, who remind you that you’re not alone on this wild ride. New towns and quiet sceneries that breathe inspiration back into your lungs when the noise gets too loud.
You’ve got to challenge yourself—not just physically, but mentally. Go run when your legs are screaming. Go study when your brain is tired. Push past your breaking point to see that you were never broken—you were just untested.
You’ll hit walls. You’ll be knocked down. But adversity has a strange way of becoming your teacher. How much can you really take? More than you think. And on the other side of the pain, there’s clarity. There’s peace, even in the chaos. There’s beauty in the climb, in the long road up the mountain—because once you’re at the top, you get to see the vastness of God’s creation with fresh eyes and a grateful heart.
And in those still moments, when life slows down and everything fades… you realize something powerful:
You are at the center of your own story.
You were never meant to drift. You were meant to steer.
But here’s the truth at the heart of it all—without faith, none of it means anything. Having faith in Christ as your Lord and Savior doesn’t just give you direction—it gives you purpose. It grounds you. It frees you. It lights the fire inside of you that no darkness can put out. He will guide you down the path you were meant to walk.
So what do you want? What kind of life do you see when you close your eyes and dream with your whole heart?
Because the world is waiting…
The life is waiting…
God is waiting…
Now ask yourself:
How bad do you truly want it?
